The issue can be temporarily resolved by restarting Steam prior to playing Minecraft or reverting back to the stable branch of Steam. The issue does not occur if I have not played any other fullscreen game prior to Minecraft. When I Alt+Tab or attempt to focus on another window or back to Minecraft (or its Launcher), the system will simulate holding down both of the mouse buttons until I press both of the mouse buttons and focus exclusively on Minecraft and its launcher. The issue involves the Steam Client Beta somehow causing Minecraft and its launcher to malfunction in ways described in the "Results" section of this post after playing a fullscreen game for an extended period of time (I first experienced this after playing Assetto Corsa). I seem to be having an issue with the latest Steam Client Beta update and Minecraft (Java Edition, a Non-Steam application).
